I have recently been involved in teaching mosaic workshops within established colleges and craft centres as well as at my own studio.
In my studio, courses can be designed to suit up to 5 individual students. Workshop lengths can vary - e.g. 2 or 3 hour sessions or a full day workshop.
A choice of projects is available including mosaic on pieces of MDF, plywood, paving slabs or 3D work.
For tesserae (mosaic pieces) I use glass or ceramic tiles, broken ceramics or found objects. The choice of materials depends on whether the work will be used indoors or outdoors. Workshop sessions will include design, choosing materials, cutting, sticking and grouting a piece of work.
