My work involves children from reception class to year 9 (KS 1,2 & 3) on a variety of projects.
Small individual pieces are simple and quick for years 3 & 4 children to design and complete. Bigger projects obviously take longer and can usually fit in well with 'arts and activities weeks' in schools. Mosaic work can also touch many areas of the National Curriculum such as the arts, design and especially The Romans.
The materials used vary depending on the project size and whether it is to be installed in/outdoors (weatherproofing is an important factor).
The children feel a real sense of pride when they complete the different stages of their work, whether it is an individual piece or a larger class/school project.
I am covered by Public Liability insurance and have CRB clearance.
